There are two climate zones in Croatia.
Inland: continental climate predominant with hot summers and cold winters;

Average temperature - coast: January 6 - 11°C, August 21 - 27°C;
Sea temperature: 12°C in winter, 25°C in summer.

Foreign currency:
Can be exchanged in banks, exchange bureaux, post offices and most tourist agencies, hotels and camping sites.
Bank work hours: 7 - 19 hours, monday to friday; 13 hours on saturdays
Some major banks in larger cities are even open on sundays.
Credit cards:
Most hotels, camping sites, restaurants and shops accept credit cards (American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, and Visa).
Most towns and villages have ATM's where you can withdraw cash.
Travel papers:
Passport or other internationally recognized identity document.
Tourists can remain in Croatia for 3 months max.

Medical services:
Hospitals and clinics in major cities and ambulant hospitals and pharmacies in minor cities.
Tourists do not pay for medical services if there is signed convention on medicare between Croatia and country of origin.
Medical expenses for other people are charged directly from patient.
For patients in immediate life danger, there is emergency air (helicopter) and sea (speedboat) transport.
